34 Bangladeshi companies to join consumer goods fair in Germany
It is one of the most renowned trade fairs in the world for the consumer goods industry
34 Bangladesh manufacturing companies which manufacture handicrafts, ceramics, jute products, plastic products and other consumer products, are going to take part in “Ambiente Fair 2019” in Germany, according to a press release issued recently.
Ambiente, the world’s largest consumer goods show, will be held at Frankfurt in Germany from February 8 to 12 February, 2019.
It is one of the most renowned trade fairs in the world for the consumer goods industry, with a clear, target-group specific structure within the sourcing and lifestyle categories.
A total of 34 exhibitors including Paragon Ceramic, Shinepukur, Peoples Ceramic, Monno Ceramic, FARR Ceramics, San Trade, RFL Plastics while Prokritee, Saidpur Enterprises, Artisan House, Asix BD, Aranya Crafts and others will participate in the expo under the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) pavilion.
EPB has been providing subsidized stalls to increase the exports of handicrafts, decorative items and kitchen accessories by allowing small and medium exporters to exhibit at the world’s largest consumer fair.
The expo helps the exhibitors to establish network with the global consumers as buyers from the other European Countries visit the expo to select products and contacting manufacturers.
In the last edition of Ambiente, a total of 4441 exhibitors displayed different type of consumers goods, and more than 136,400 buyers came to the fair to see the display of goods.
Bangladesh has been participating in Ambiente for over three decades now and a number of industries have developed from this fair such as jute and handicrafts.
