'6th Pharma Career Fair 2019' begins in Dhaka

State University of Bangladesh has inaugurated a two-day long "6th Pharma Career Fair" at its campus.
President of the ‘Board of Trustee’ of State University of Bangladesh (SUB), Dr A. M. Shamim inaugurated the fair with the theme "Connecting Dreams With Opportunities" for Pharmacists and other graduates at 10 am on Friday, says a press release.
Vice-Chancellor of SUB, Prof. M. Shahjahan Mina, Prof. Dr M. A. Rashid, Advisor of the Department of Pharmacy and Former Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, Prof. Md. Saiful Islam Pathan, Head of the Department, Prof. Md. Moklesur Rahman Sarker, Head of Academic and Research Affairs, Dr Md. Hassan Kawsar, General Secretary of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society and professor of the department, Md. Shariful Islam, Convener of the Organizing Committee of the 6th Pharma Career Fair 2019, teachers and students of the department attended the fair.
The guests went around different stalls and laboratories of the department during the fair.
Mentioning it as a milestone in the development of the pharmacist profession, the president of BoT and other guests praised the good initiative taken by SUB, and urged them to continue organizing such fairs every year.

Job aspirants from different universities of Bangladesh visited the fair on the first day.
Participating companies exhibited various types of features at the fair, including providing facilities to candidates seeking jobs and doing spot interviews. The two-day fair will also have important seminars on various topics related to career formation, mock interviews, and various events, where job aspirants will be inspired by top executives of the Human Resources division of the first-tier pharma companies. The fair will conclude at 7 pm Saturday.
