For the year 2019, it has been fixed that for each person the minimum fitra is 70 Bangladeshi Taka. It has been declared by the Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh the last week. Bangladesh has a majority of the Islamic population, fitra is a crucial thing to look for during Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to the assistant director of the Islamic Foundation, Mohammad NizamUdin, the maximum fitra was set in the year 1980. This year’s fitra has increased a little compared to the last year but not that much.

The last Thursday the amount was fixed in the meeting, which was organized by Hafez Maulana Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, BaitulMukarram; the national mosque’s senior Pesh Imam. On the other hand, the person is also the president of the national fitra fixing committee.

While fixing the amount the committee has considered various aspects of Bangladesh starting from prices of dates, flour, and many other crucial items. It was a great decision made by the Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh to go for a raise in the minimum value of fitra.

Bizbangladesh dictates that as the majority of the population of Bangladesh are Muslim, fitra is a quite important thing to be aware of and the rise in the amount is a great decision as the economy of Bangladesh is rising as we speak. Overall, it was a great decision made by the Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh.
