9-day National SME fair commences Wednesday

Nine-day National Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) products fair begins in metropolis tomorrow.
Primary Minister Sheikh Hasina can inaugurate the fair in Krishibid Institution Bangladesh.
The SME Basis is organizing the fair at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), said Sectors Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun at a press conference at SME Foundation auditorium in the capital yesterday.
The minister said a complete of 296 SME entrepreneurs would showcase their products at 309 stalls. Products such as for example jute goods, agriculture, food and leather products, electronic and electrical items will become showcased at the reasonable venue.
Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim and SME Basis Managing Director Md Shafiqul Islam were also present at the press conference.
Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun said this season five best SME entrepreneurs will be awarded. Each businessperson are certain to get Tk1 lakh and a crest.
To promote the SME business owners and SME items, the foundation will arrange six seminars. The fair will remain available to all from 10:00am to 8:00pm. There will be no entry fee.
