A Step to Shape Future of Sustainable Fashion

A huge barrier to fashion improvement has been the use of unethical fashion. Recently, the local communities have been asked to take steps in order to prevent unethical fashion’s negative effects. The local communities have been asked the by the Global Shapers Community; the world famous economic forum.
10% of the negative environmental issues are being raised by the fashion industry of 2 trillion United States dollars. It is has been found out the use of chemicals and unethical fashion has been polluting the environment and water.
On the other hand, the poor working environment has been becoming a threat to the workers too, especially women. Last but not least, it is leading to massive wastage of textile too.
For prevention 30 hubs from different nations, who are a member of Global shaper are participating in the initiative, which has the predominant motive of creating awareness about the pollution caused by unethical use of the textile. The name of the initiative is Shaping Fashion.
For the prevention, the project is going to do various activities, for example swapping of clothing, screening of informative films and many others.
Holly a member of the initiative has said: “It is simultaneously a very dirty business that has long hidden how it works”. She mentioned the unethical fashion usage and obviously the destruction of nature through this.
Most of the activities have the one pivotal purpose and that is to cut down or eradicate the use of unethical fashion, which brings harm to nature. The co-founder of Shaping Fashion; the initiative mentioned it to the community.
Different workshops are being taken place in the Dallas Hub in the United States. The workshops include benefits of clothing materials, using clean and ethical fashion and many others. It is a fine step to revolutionize the garment sector of this whole world.
