AI-driven keyboard produced by Indian firm Xploree now on Huawei’s app store

Chinese telecom major Huawei on Tuesday announced that it artificial intelligence-based Xploree keyboard, developed by Indian IT firm KeyPoint Technologies, is currently available on its mobile app store.

Huawei developed its app store as the government bared American companies from supplying software and hardware to it.

Unlike Apple and Google, Huawei is paying a motivation as high as USD 20,000 to developers to integrate their app using its AppGallery, the Chinese telecom major said.

"As our official iphone app distribution platform, the AppGallery is continuing to grow in these years to create a sophisticated, engaging and secured iphone app ecosystem for consumers," Honor and Huawei India Consumer Business Group President Chares Peng said in a statement.

"That said, we are excited to embark after our collaboration with Xploree to create a fantastic experience for our users and at the same time empower them with an increase of than simply a conventional keyboard technology."

The other day, Huawei brought Indian music and video streaming iphone app Hungama to its app gallery.

"We are bullish of our commitment towards the united states and with this step, we further try to create an unmatched value for both, our partners and also customers," Peng said.

Huawei has been reaching out to Indian iphone app developers with a USD 1 billion global fund to develop its mobile services suite.

"Huawei's AppGallery is one of the top three marketplaces having presence in over 170 countries and opens up a huge chance of us to showcase our flagship product, Xploree - an initial of its kind proactive assistant on the keyboard," KeyPoint Technologies CEO Nutan Chokkareddy said.
