Bangladesh joins UN Fashion Climate Charter

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGMEA) – the trade body of apparel manufacturers in Bangladesh – has joined the UN Climate Change’s Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action (UNFCCC) initiative.
By joining this initiative, BGMEA says it is pledging to support implementation of the principles of the Charter, in line with the goals established by the Paris Agreement of 2015. It joins 37 signotories such as Adidas, Burberry, H&M, Gap and Nike.
