Bangladesh London mission bins report on issuing health certificate

Bangladesh High Commission in London, UK has referred to as “incorrect” some media studies that said the mission issued “health certificate” regarding Covid-19 to Bangladesh bound passengers.
No such “well being certificate” has been issued from the Bangladesh high commission to any passenger alternatively it only attest to personal “wellbeing declaration form” of the travel intending passengers to Bangladesh amid the pandemic, a news release issued by the objective said on Saturday.
It said the process of attesting to “well being declaration form” has even now been continuing while passengers are journeying with these attested varieties through different airlines including national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines want before.
The London high commission has been attesting to health-related declaration of Bangladesh bound Bangladesh citizens and British-Bangladesh duel citizens with NVR (no visa required) since March last according to the directives of concern authority of Bangladesh, said the mission.
The passengers had traveled to Bangladesh with these “attested health declaration forms” on boarding different airlines including Biman, Qatar Airways and Emirates Airways in previous March and June-July as the forms were widely accepted by both airlines and immigration authority at Dhaka airport.
The Bangladesh London Objective sees a necessity to explain the problem as some media reports have arrived to its observation that Qatar Airways did not issue boarding passes to some Bangladeshi bound passengers at Heathrow airport on Thursday denying the acceptance of their personal ‘wellness declaration form’ attested by the high commission.
The release said the high commission has already inquired in to the matter with hometown Qatar Airways office in London and in addition been collecting information from other airlines if they adopted any new wellbeing guidelines about the Covid-19.
The high commission will publish the info at their website and facebook page upon receiving relevant information regarding the issue, said the release.
The objective also requested all to check on respective airlines travel advisories before purchasing tickets amid the pandemic.
Terming the Thursday’s show while “a sporadic incident”, the high commission said it is neither related to acceptance of the “personal health declaration form”, fastened by the huge commission nor continuation of weather connectivity among Bangladesh and the UK.
The Bangladesh High Commission also requested all never to be misled about the issue.
Regarding to a circular, issued by simply Civil Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) on June 11 last, foreign national coming to Bangladesh with valid visas should create a medical certificate (with English translation) to be attained within 72 time of travelling, indicating that he/she is “Covid-19 Negative”.
If any Bangladesh origin passengers posses an NVR and come to Bangladesh without the required “Covid-19 Bad” certificate, he/she would be institutionally quarantine.
