BARD creates careers in Comilla

Bangladesh Academy for Rural Creation (BARD) distributed seeds, seedlings, breeder chicks, and sewing devices, to create careers for its job beneficiaries in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla.
Beneficiaries of the job named "Livelihood Improvement of Char Lands Persons through Adaptation Procedures," received the merchandise at a distribution course in Natun Hasnabad village of the upazila on Monday.
The distributed farm merchandise included: 1000 ducklings, 625 quails, seed and seedlings of seasonal hybrid vegetables, and 7 maunds of Aman paddy seed.
100 palm and date tree seedlings, another 3000 tree seedlings incorporating medicinal trees, windbreaker and wood-yielding trees, and fruit trees, were as well distributed.
Sewing machines received to five unemployed women of all ages, and a BARD created Kalyan Incubator along with 125 eggs of a successful chicken variety, received to some other woman.
