Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Sector (DCCI) President Shams Mahmud said the Padma Multipurpose Bridge will bring the energy for industrialization at the doorsteps of the common people and so support industries of varied scales and dimensions to flourish in the region.

“Significant impacts are expected to occur in foreign trade between neighbouring countries such as for example India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Myanmar,” he added.
