DHL Bangladesh holds career counseling for TFB fellows

DHL BD held a special career counselling session for TFB (Teach for Bangla-desh) fellows on November 14 at a service center of DHL Express in the city. It is part of DHL BD's yearlong "Living Responsibility' initiative.
As this year's global theme of DPDHL "Go Teach' activity is to drive "employability', DHL Bangladesh initiated this customised approach of arranging such a "share and inspire' session to add value and contribute to the career planning of the TFB fellows.
The event was a cross business unit programme under DPDHL banner. Country Manager of DHL Express, Chief Operating Officer of DHL Global Forwarding and Country Head of TFB attended the session and were engaged in an open dialogue.
At the session, the fellows received a career overview and key learnings from the Country Heads of DHL through a round of question and answer.
TFB officials expressed their satisfaction and said they found the initiative very effective.
The concept of "employability" and career advice happen to be very contextual for the fellows since they are all graduates and at the final year of their two-year fellowship programme.
