Do not travel to Bangladesh because of Covid-19: US travel advisory

The US Department of State has issued a Level-4 travel advisory for Bangladesh, warning People in america against travelling to the united states amid restrictions as a result of Covid-19 outbreak.

"Crimes such as muggings, burglaries, assaults, and illegitimate drug trafficking constitute the majority of criminal activity in Bangladesh's major cities, but there are no indications foreigners are being targeted as a result of their nationality. These crimes have a tendency to be situational, based on time and location," it read.

The state dept. also said the US government employees in Bangladesh are at the mercy of movement and travel restrictions because of security concerns.
