Intersection, offered in 17 colours, is available throughout the Steelcase surface elements distribution network and does apply on over 50 Steelcase screen and panel product lines.
Through this step, the business is making efforts to completely clean the ocean and reduce plastic material pollution worldwide.
Seaqual collaborates with fishermen, NGOs and many other stakeholders to accumulate waste which is in that case categorised, separated and cleaned.
All these plastics are processed and upcycled into polymer to be used as yarn, which is after that transformed to create the industry-leading sustainable Ocean Waste materials Clean Impact Textiles.
Every pound of textile produce results in around half of a pound of waste removal from the oceans.
Alain Duval, CEO of Duvaltex, mentions “Our goal with Clean Affect Textiles is to reduce environmentally friendly impact of textile making whenever you can by innovating the way products are sourced, created and disposed of at the end of their useful life.”
