Eight satellite job centres to help job seekers from July

Called the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Centres, they'll be set up in 3 phases, with phases two and 3 slated for Aug 1 and 15 respectively.

Job seekers can head to these satellite television centres to meet up a Workforce Singapore job ambassador who will provide career guidance on the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package.

Near 100,000 opportunities - jobs, traineeships and skills training places - will be made by the Government beneath the bundle overseen by the new National Jobs Council.

Job hunters who require even more in-depth and tailored job coaching services will come to be referred by the career ambassador with their nearest career centre for follow-ups.

There are five career centres islandwide, such as for example Workforce Singapore's Career Connect and the National Trades Union Congress' Employment and Employability Institute.
