Expansion somewhat decreases in October

The expansion rate diminished to 5.47 percent in October from 5.54 percent in the earlier month because of huge fall in costs of non-nourishment things and some nourishment wares. 

"Regardless of value climb of onion, the general costs of fishes, vegetables and natural products stick down marginally in October contrasting with that in September last," said Planning Minister MA Mannan on Tuesday. 

He said this while instructions correspondents after the month to month buyer value file was set at the ECNEC meeting held in the NEC gathering room in the city. 

Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) information show that nourishment expansion expanded to 5.49 percent in October from 5.30 percent in the earlier month, while the non-nourishment swelling rate declined to 5.45 percent a month ago from 5.92 percent in September. 

In the country region, the general swelling rate declined to 5.36 percent in the month from 5.41 percent in September. 

The general expansion rate additionally declined to 5.67 percent in October from 5.80 percent in September in the urban zone. 

The point-to-point national compensation record saw descending pattern with 6.38 percent in October against 6.51 percent in September 2019.
