Fair Technology to set up Hyundai car manufacturing facility in Gazipur

Fair Technology Limited, the country's lone distributor of renowned South Korean car supplier Hyundai Motor Company, will set up a good Hyundai car manufacturing facility in Bangladesh. 

Fair Technology Ltd, the automotive vertical of Good Group, has signed a great arrangement with the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority for allotment of land in this regard, said a news release.

Fair Group has been production Samsung smartphones and gadgets products in Bangladesh. It also operates its retail, business, after-sales service, and various franchise-based businesses in the united states.

The signing ceremony was led by State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, where Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority Managing Director (Secretary) Hosne Ara Begum and Managing Director of Fair Technology Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub signed the agreement with respect to their respective organisations.

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Lee Jang-keun, Senior Secretary of ICT Ministry NM Zeaul Alam, Director of Good Technology Mutassim Daiaan, Adviser of Good Group Maj Gen Hamid R Chowdhury, Chief Marketing Officer Mesbah Uddin and different senior government and Good Group officials were present on the occasion. 

The Hyundai car manufacturing plant will be set up on six acres of land at Kaliakair in Gazipur with investment by Fair Technology and technical the help of Hyundai Motor Company.

Initially, Hyundai strategies to produce the most popular sedans, SUVs, and MPVs of recent models.

The plant is being set up based on the policy of the federal government of Bangladesh, which can only help increase localisation, create employment, and boost the number of skilled personnel in the country.

On this occasion, Condition Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, "We are incredibly happy that the world-famous Hyundai car factory has been create in Bangladesh through Good Technology which is one of the milestones. When world-popular cars like Hyundai begin making in Bangladesh, Bangladesh's prestige on earth will increase a whole lot and I also assume that this factory will make a substantial contribution to career and the market of Bangladesh."

Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority MD Hosne Ara Begum said, "We are very happy to have the ability to make this agreement with Good Technology today since when world-famous car like Hyundai is made in a high-tech park, it will encourage international investors and Bangladesh will go even more in the communication and technology industry."
