The first of its kind in Bangladesh, Valor of Bangladesh (VoB), the data sharing social platform, has started its journey. The inauguration ceremony for the launch of VoB was held on Wednesday, 10 February, 2021 at The Royal Park Rooftop in Banani, Dhaka.
VoB is an initiative of Lighthouse Bangladesh. It'll serve as a program to facilitate constructive dialogue between sector leaders, corporates, and academia. Its purpose is normally to deconstruct and enlighten the ecosystem all together regarding multifarious countrywide and global priorities and issues. This informs about the decisions that require to be made in order to develop better, brighter and a far more sustainable present and future.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with a welcome speech by Najmus Ahmed Albab, CEO of Lighthouse Bangladesh and Executive Director of VoB. Anis A. Khan, President of VoB, shared a few phrases on VoB's perspective in the programme. In the future the signing ceremony occurred and the VoB journal was launched, followed by Q/A classes and speeches by founding customers.
At this juncture Anis A. khan explained, 'VoB is a distinctive system of leaders from three communities who are the generating forces behind the production of the market of Bangladesh. The communities will be corporate, public and academia. It is the first time that a system has been setup to gather these leaders for an improved consensus in complementing plan making'.
He said, 'The platform won't make any plan. But this platform all fits in place to compliment policy making. It'll make policy making easier. Because these three kinds of leaders usually job separately on their own platforms. When they come together, they'll take each other's points into consideration.
On this programme, additionally it is informed that Lighthouse Bangladesh has conducted a series of insightful virtual discussions, that have been in need due to the pandemic and succeeded in delivering leaders and minds from various institutions of the country together under one platform. There have been in-depth discussions resulting in insights about the challenges of working through a pandemic globe, and beyond, consequently allowing resilient businesses to emerge under a "Resilient - Radical - Responsive" leadership.
