Fujifilm brings the X-T100 mirrorless camera to India
After initially launching the X-T100 in global markets back in May, Fujifilm has recently announced the X series of mirrorless cameras in India. This camera features a retro design and comes with a host of features such as including a high magnification electronic viewfinder, a horizontal tilting rear LCD screen, and an extended battery life of up to 430 frames.
The camera weighs 448g and it comes with an anodized coated aluminium top cover which gives it the retro look. The 24.2MP APS-C size sensor is 14 times bigger than the sensor inside a conventional smartphone and using the built-in Bluetooth technology makes image transfer quick and easy for sharing with friends. The X-T100 comes in three colours — Dark Silver, Black and Champagne Gold.
The X-T100 features a phase detection AF system and a newly developed AF algorithm which offers faster and precise focusing. Combined with the supplied Fujinon lens, the camera boasts ultimate image resolution, lowlight capability, wide dynamic range, and outstanding colour reproduction.

The X-T100 is compatible with Fujifilm’s X Mount lens range, including the latest electronic zoom lens, the XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ.
The 26 lenses of Fujifilm’s extensive lens line-up cover a vast focal length from 15mm to 1200mm (35mm format equivalent) including zoom and prime lenses. The Bluetooth low energy technology has been incorporated for quick, easy and automatic transfer of still images to paired smartphones and tablet devices, using the free smart-device app, ‘FUJIFILM Camera Remote’. The seamless transfer function provides constant image transfer even while in shooting mode, so images can be shared and uploaded at a moments’ notice.
The X-T100 offers 11 variations of Fujifilm's Film Simulation Modes and 17 variations of Advanced Filters, adding advanced artistic flair or film-like colour tones and expression. In addition, the various setting can be adjusted quickly and easily with one-step operation via the function dial, exposure compensation dial, or touch-and-flick function on rear LCD monitor.
The Fujifilm X-T100 body is available in India for Rs 47,999, while the XT100 Kit with XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ is priced at Rs 54,999. XT100 Dual Kit with XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ and XC50-230mmF4.5-6.7 OIS II costs Rs 70,999.
