Kennedy Drapin, account manager of global supplier relations at Get-e says: “Setting up in Barbados has been an exciting project for Get-e. It’s very different sourcing suppliers in a small island compared to somewhere like New York, and coupled with Covid-19 restrictions, we came across some unique challenges.”

An extensive selection process to source the right suppliers in Barbados was carried out by Get-e to ensure it met the comprehensive health, safety and service level standards required by its customers.

Alexander van Deudekom, CEO and founder at Get-e says: “Expanding Get-e’s offering in the Caribbean is a demonstration of the need for reliable, flexible and trusted ground transportation across the world and our ability to service airlines wherever the destination. We expect this to become particularly important as more carriers service additional and seasonal destinations to meet the anticipated demand in 2022.”

Carriers using Get-e’s platform to book crew airport transfers benefit from receiving just one invoice each month plus full visibility of costs, trips, travelers and pricing. All transfers are tracked via GPS, and if there is any foreseen delay, a different driver is automatically dispatched. Alongside the reduced costs afforded by Get-e’s global presence, this significantly reduces administration time for crew managers and finance departments.

Get-e’s in-house multi-lingual operations control team provides support 24/7, monitoring and coordinating all transportation requests.
