Global Recruiting Agency holds career expo at DIU

Global Recruiting Agency — a sister concern of Daffodil Family — organised a day-long programme titled ‘Career in Japan Expo’ to help Bangladeshi job seekers enter Japan’s job market at Daffodil International University in Dhaka on Saturday.

The event was held in association with Career Development Centre, Skill Jobs, Daffodil International Professional Training Institute and Daffodil Japan IT, said a press release.

After the inaugural session, a seminar titled ‘Career in Japan: Facts and Opportunities’ took place where Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment deputy secretary Quazi Abed presented the keynote paper.

In the second session, a seminar on ‘Manner, Lifestyle and Culture in Japan’ was held where Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment joint secretary Jahangir Alam presented keynote paper.

Besides this, JIKA specialist Yuki Marisita, Japan embassy economic specialist Ahbadul Yousuf Khan, DIU EEE department associate professor K M Alamgir, Japanese Universities Alumni Association in Bangladesh secretary general Mohammad Abdullah Khan also spoke in the daylong expo.

Daffodil International University founder and board of trustees chairman Md Sabur Khan presided over the programme while it was addressed, among others, by Daffodil Family CEO Mohammad Nuruzzaman and Daffodil International Professional Training Institute executive director Rathindranath Das.
