Grameenphone Crosses 10 Million 4G Internet Users
It has only been a year and two months since Grameenphone had launched their 4G service and now they have 10 million 4G internet users. Within the first 5 months, they had reached 5 million users, which is 50% of the amount they have now. Being the first 4G service provider, it is a huge achievement for Grameenphone.
For Bangladesh the release of 4G was a modernization to the digital era, it was a long-awaited release too. It was promising because, the country needed internet with great speed and Grameenphone provided it, said a press release.
The growth of internet users in a gradual manner is also increasing the users of Grameenphone in a very swift manner. Grameenphone needed 5 MHz spectrum in the 1800 MHz Frequency band, which led them to be the leading holder of MHz Frequency of 1800, and it was without a doubt a very suitable spectrum of the 4G rollout.
