Intex Indie 5 with 4000mAh battery, 5-inch display launched for Rs 4,999
Intex recently launched infie 3 and Infie 33 under sub Rs 5,000 price bracket with 18:9 display. The company has now launched a new budget smartphone called Indie 5 with a price tag of 4,999. The device comes loaded with SwiftKey app and other media streaming apps such as Gaana and Prime Video.
The device features Android Nougat OS underneath the hood. The Indie 5 sports a 5-inch display, which carries a resolution of 1280x720. At its core, the handset runs on a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC paired alongside 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
For the shutterbugs, the smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera sensor along with a LED flash and autofocus. There is an 8MP camera sensor, assisted by a LED flash. Connectivity options include 4G-VoLTE, USB with OTG, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard the Intex Indie 5 include an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, and proximity sensor. The Indie 5 is available only in the Black colour.
