Coleman Furniture is setting up visually focused customer journeys around the products customers are most likely to buy.

Located in Cedarhurst, N.Y., Coleman Furniture manufactures and markets furniture through its e-commerce site. The business is leveraging the AI-based visible product discovery program from Syte to automatically create personalized customer journeys.

Coleman Furniture serves the merchandise an individual consumer is most likely to buy, in the manner they most prefer to look. For example, goal-oriented consumers may use smart text and visual search functionalities, while inspiration-minded shoppers can navigate through product images and recommendations.

The Syte platform combines three product suites that are based on proprietary AI technology which uses two visual similarity algorithms to automatically categorize items within a catalog and enrich product meta-tags. The platform carries a visual discovery suite offering equipment including image search and item recommendations, designed to use visual AI to greatly help shoppers find items equivalent to any merchandise they like within a brand’s website.

Furthermore, the Syte platform includes a hyper-personalization suite that combines real-time behavior with visible data to recommend the most relevant products for any given shopper, in addition to a “searchandising” suite consisting of product tagging and e-commerce webpage search solutions that use visible AI to enrich item data and search accuracy.

The solutions are managed and custom-made through a central console that delivers data visibility, deep analytics, A/B testing tools, and wise merchandising rules and rating strategies.
