Dog-lovers take note, The St. Regis Aspen Resort is on the hunt for a new member of staff whose main duties will be looking after the cutest resident in the hotel, Kitty Jacob Astor II.
The hotel's Bernese mountain dog wants to get in on the long-running St. Regis butler service, so he's searching for his very own fur butler.
Interested applicants must be dog lovers and, according to the job post on Facebook, should have “a deep passion for animals, service, uncompromising standards, the ability to anticipate needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills".
Duties for the full-time position include walking and grooming Kitty, plus handling the pup’s social media pages. The fur butler will also co-ordinate Kitty's playdates, airport pick-ups, road trips and more.
Applicants with photography experience will have a distinct advantage, as the hotel is keen on hiring someone who can capture Kitty’s adventures as he roams around the resort, which is nestled at the base of Aspen Mountain.
As well as being Kitty’s number one go-to, prospective fur butlers would also handle the resort's Pet Program, which would mean looking after any fur-babies checking in to The St. Regis Aspen Resort with their owners.
If you think you’re the right fit for the job, and don’t mind having a boss with four legs, you need to post a video or photo on social media that shows why this paw patrol is a good fit for you. Use the #kittysfurbutler then email your CV direct to kitty@stregis.com with your social media handles included.
The fur butler position is part of the hotel's butler and front office team and the role will also include close collaboration with the director of marketing. Other than guaranteed doggy-love credits, salary details have not been released.
