Power Sector Share price Tops In Stock Market
Shares of the Companies from power sector have traded the highest turnover in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) last week. And as a result of this high amount of trade the rate of the shares of power sector companies have also increased. In the list of top 20 companies, three power sector companies secured the top 3 positions. Summit Power secured the first place considering both traded share volume and value.

Summit Power Limited had a boost in the past week. Khulna Power Company Limited (KPCL) was placed second in the list in terms of share value and United Power Generation and Distribution Company Limited (UPGDCL) secured third place in the same list.
The closing price of Summit Power’s per share was 49.4 TK and the volume of the traded shares was 11,731,340 while daily transaction was recorded up to 594.056 million TK in the closing day. Summit has a market capitalization of 51,792046 million TK.
The closing price of KPCL’s per share was 136.3 TK and the volume of the traded shares was 4,149,488 while daily transaction was recorded up to 573.056 million TK in the closing day. KPCL has a market capitalization of 50,326.96 million TK.
The closing price of UPGDCL’s per share was 354.1 TK and the volume of the traded shares was 1,060,863 while daily transaction was recorded up to 379.08 million TK in the closing day. KPCL has a market capitalization of 145,163.361 million TK.
