Radisson Resort Group continues to expand in South Asia’s exciting places with the signing of its first of all hotel in Khulna, the 3rd largest metropolis in Bangladesh and a significant hub for trade and tourism.
Scheduled to open in third quarter of 2023, Radisson Resort Khulna is a brand new upscale hotel nestled in a prime site 2.5 km from the centre of the dynamic second tier port city, close to the primary business areas. The city can be the gateway to the Sundarbans Forest Reserve, the world’s major mangrove forest and the house of the Bengal tiger.
It'll feature 150 contemporary bedrooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar and espresso lounge, a pool, fitness centre and a spa. The hotel’s comprehensive function space includes a sizable and divisible ballroom, a pre-function area, meeting bedrooms and a boardroom, featuring options for important local corporate and social events.
“Bangladesh is expanding exponentially, with strong economical growth creating prospects for development across the country. The victory of our hotels in Dhaka and Chattogram displays growing demand from domestic guests and international travellers alike. We anticipate introducing a new degree of international hospitality to Khulna,” explained Katerina Giannouka, president of Asia Pacific in Radisson Resort Group.
South Asia is a key focus marketplace for Radisson which currently operates two hotels found in Bangladesh: Radisson Blu Dhaka Normal water Lawn and Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay Viewpoint.
