Samsung Galaxy S10 Has 'The Most Color Accurate Display' DisplayMate Has Ever Tested

Samsung Galaxy phones typically have killer displays, and the Galaxy S10 could be setting the bar high for future generations. In fact, it's been described to have "the most color accurate display that we have ever tested."

That's according DisplayMate, a company that focuses on screen technologies and creates in-depth and lengthy documents regarding them.

The Galaxy S10 recently underwent DisplayMate's test, which it calls a "Display Shoot-Out." The company explains its findings in detail on its website, but to get the gist of it, it says the phone's display is basically "visually indistinguishable from perfect."

"Even with our new tougher grading standards and new tests, the Galaxy S10 receives 100% All Green Very Good to Excellent Ratings in All Categories, earning DisplayMate's highest ever A+ grade," the firm writes.

To sum up its achievements, the phone is setting records in terms of color accuracy, contrast accuracy, intensity scale accuracy, peak luminance, and viewing angle performance.

For the record, the Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display. To be exact, the resolution is 3,040 x 1,440 and delivers 550 ppi. It's also HDR10+ certified.
