Students from Sunnydale Attending 25th Australian Jamboree

Recently, Australian Scout Jamboree was held in Adelaide of Australia, students from all over the world had attended the event. Sunnydale, a reputable English Medium School of Dhaka Bangladesh had the honor to send sixteen of their students. The students showed up there for the Gala Event that was held from 4th to 14th of the first month of this year.
It was a luxurious adventure for the students. They flew to Australia on the New Year’s Day for attending the 25th scout jamboree of Australia. The excitement of the kids was incredible, having thousands of fellow scouts standing by their side made it more exciting. It was without a doubt one of the greatest international scouting events ever held.
The fear of getting the skin burnt enduring the raving heat of Adelaide was in the mind of every student. However, not very long after arriving the students found out that there were enough facilities for shelter, for example, international hubs, countless tents, etc. The sub campsite was mesmerizing, according to the students. The participants of the event were equipped with a hat, lunchbox and a handbook for daylong activities.
The following day, the students saw the Bangladeshi flag being hosted at the concert. The concert was a memorable day for the students, apart from the songs, the chief of jamboree’s speech was appreciable too.
The day after that, the students learned various things from different activities. At first the three-hour-long activity, with obstacles, mud zone and etc. which is known as the “Cube”. Later on, there were different programs such as metromania, Whizz, and many hi-tech activities. The visit to the Murray River was an exciting scouting experience for the students too. Later on, there was this international night, where popular Bangladeshi songs were played such as Joy Bangla and Tugdoom Tugdoom Bajaay Bangldesher Dhol.
In the last day of the event, the scouts earned the badges and they were also provided with picture slideshows of the journey and more. For the students, it was an astonishing journey with friends. It has taught them a lot of stuff. Overall, it was a magnificent trek of fun and education.
