Substantial mist ends ship benefits on Shimulia-Kathalbari course

Ship activity on Shimulia-Kathalbari course stayed suspended since early Tuesday because of thick haze, making sufferings several travelers in the midst of shuddering virus.

Shafik Ahmed, delegate head supervisor of Shimulia Ghat of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA), said the specialists stopped development of ships at 5:30am as thick mist blanked the territory.

Moreover, 5 ships have been kept moored in the Padma River to evade mishap, UNB announced.

In excess of 200 vehicles have been stranded on the two sides of the stream.
