The Update on the FY20 Budget Stated by Finance Minister

The last Thursday; 6th June 2019, different important announcement about Bangladesh’s financial planning were stated. Some of the most important factors stated in the parliament are the country’s volume of import, export volume, foreign exchange reserves, investment of Gross Domestic Product, etc. The major information about the statistics is they have been enhanced throughout the years and the condition is getting better.

Different other information have also been revealed by AM Mustafa Kamal, such as country’s private sector investment, The ratio of debt gross domestic product, infant mortality and also life expectancy at birth 72.8 years.Mostly the rates have improved, which is a great news.

Among all these information, two of the most vital information were, the literacy rate of Bangladesh, which has surprisingly improved and on the other hand, the power generation capacity that had a subliminal improvement too.

The import volume of Bangladesh right now is 58.9 Billion United States Dollars, which is an acceptable rate and carrying on with such improvement can lead Bangladesh to higher stages as time passes by. On the other hand, the export volume had a great increase too, it is 37 Billion United States Dollars right now.

Other information include, Foreign Exchange reserve, which is 33 Billion United States Dollars now. A great enhancement has been made with the Gross Domestic Product, as the 31.5% of Gross Domestic Products are being invested.

The investment on the private sector is 70.8 Billion United States Dollars, it is an enhanced amount, on the other hand, Debt-GDP ratio is 32 percent, which has decreased by a bit and it is a good news.

Lastly, the literacy rate of the country has increased subliminally as the literacy rate of Bangladesh is 72.9 percent right now. Over the years, it has been having a gradual increase, reaching even higher stage is just a matter of time. 

Some other information are, infant mortality rate, which is 24 per 1000, life expectancy rate at birth is 72.8 years and last but not least, power generation capacity is 21629.
