‘TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week 2020’ held in Dhaka

With an aim to require the Bangladesh apparel industry one breakthrough , a three-day fashion event titled ‘TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week 2020’ showcasing the works of fashion designers of home and abroad concluded on Saturday.
Organised by TRESemmé, an internationally renowned hair care brand chosen by the hair experts and professionals everywhere the planet , the event happened at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) within the capital from January 23 to 25.
The much-talked-about extravaganza, the most important fashion event within the country, this year displayed works of 21 Bangladeshi and 9 international designers of Asia. Moreover, TRESemmé worked with the highest hair stylists of the country to line the new hairdo trends for the New Year .
Anuj Sharma and Riddhi Jain from India and Ajay Gurung from Nepal showcased their collections along side local designers on the primary day of the event. While on the second day, President of Fashion Design Council of Bangladesh (FDCB) Maheen Khan, joined by Emdad Hoque, Shaibal Saha, Farah Anjum Bari, Soumitra Mandal from India, along side Sonali Dharmawardena from Sri Lanka and other local designers presented their collection.
On the ultimate day of the event, the local designers Chandan Dewan, Kuhu and Lipi Khandaker were amid Alka Sharma and Asif Shaikh from India and Chandrika Tamang from Bhutan showcased their collections.
FDCB was the event partner of this year ‘TRESemmé Bangladesh Fashion Week 2020’. The non-profit organization has been working to market the style and culture of Bangladesh in international platforms to make a marketplace for Bangladeshi products.
