The basics of the Bangladesh economy still remains sound though it has been badly afflicted by Covid-19, British substantial commissioner in Dhaka Robert Chatterton said on Mon.
In a virtual event he said that foreign direct investment (FDI), including from Britain, would be very very important to helping both Bangladesh and the British economies recover from the Covid pandemic, in line with the UK Department for International Development on Tuesday.
Md Mahbub ur Rahman, the chairman of the Uk Organization Group, Sirazul Islam, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Expense Development Authority and Saida Muna Tasneem, Bangladesh substantial commissioner in London, likewise took component in the event.
