US business leaders rally behind Biden

Businesses executives, industry representatives and trade bodies have rallied behind Joe Biden and needed a tranquil transfer of power after he won the 2020 presidential elections and the refusal of President Donald Trump to concede defeat.
Mr Biden is on course to be the 46th president of the US, securing enough electoral votes after he won the state of Pennsylvania on Saturday to get rid of Mr Trump’s hope of securing another term in the White House. Mr Trump, the first president to fail to win re-election in practically three decades, when George H W Bush lost to Bill Clinton in 1992, said he'll pursue legal options to challenge the outcome.
In the run up to elections, US businesses were supportive of Mr Biden, with 77 per cent of participants in a survey of chief executives conducted by the Yale School of Management in late September, saying they would back him. A lot more than 60 % predicted he'd win.
