USAID study distinguishes BD's six promising divisions past RMG

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has recognized six promising segments which can assume a fundamental job to further lift the economy of Bangladesh. 

USAID's Comprehensive Private Sector Assessment (PSA) distinguished agribusiness (nourishment handling), human services, data and correspondences innovation and redistributing, light designing, pharmaceuticals and the travel industry as the most encouraging areas past the instant articles of clothing (RMG) division for private part commitment and speculation. 

The examination report was uncovered at a capacity on Tuesday in Dhaka. Trade Minister Tipu Munshi, USAID Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick, and US Deputy Chief of Mission JoAnne Wagner went to the program. 

As indicated by an official statement, The USAID led the evaluation as a major aspect of two-sided support towards reinforcing Bangladesh's economy through broadening. 

The PSA's discoveries bolster the Government of Bangladesh's financial expansion changes activity and help the private division develop its commitment with the legislature and different partners so as to further advance Bangladesh's monetary development, the official statement said. 

"The US Embassy in Bangladesh, through USAID and different segments and in a joint effort with the administration of Bangladesh, will dissect the distinguished areas in the PSA to investigate techniques for venture and commitment with the private division," it said. 

The PSA, led between October 2018 and July 2019, assessed a sum of 16 rising areas of Bangladesh, including pottery, business enterprise, calfskin and cowhide products, restorative hardware, plastic, sustainable power source and vitality productivity, shipbuilding, shrimp and fish, broadcast communications, and vehicle get together.
