100 Rajshahi graduates get job in Chinese companies

A daylong job fair paved the way for over 100 graduates having technical knowledge to get job in two Chinese companies, generating massive hopes among many others to get overseas employment, reports BSS.
A Chinese delegation selected them through interview and scrutinizing their curriculum vitae directly.
The fair was organised at Rajshahi Technical Training Centre (TTC) in Rajshahi on November 16 to draw Chinese attention to Bangladesh's skilled manpower.
A function was also arranged where Chairman of Parliamentary Caucus on Migration and Development Israfil Alam, MP, Deputy Director of Local Government Division Parvej Raihan, Principal of Rajshahi College Prof Habibur Rahman, Director of Varendra Research Museum Prof Ali Reja Abdul Mazid and Assistant Director of District Employment and Manpower Office Abdul Hannan were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Israfil Alam said the government has taken initiatives to send competent manpower to abroad alongside finding out new overseas job markets for boosting the earning of foreign remittance.
