Bangladesh Bank, BRAC Lender carry workshop on SME financing

The Bangladesh Lender and BRAC Lender jointly organised a virtual workshop broadcast from the BRAC Lender head office at Tejgaon in the capital on January 5 for boosting the data of BRAC Lender officials on SME financing, said a press release.
The BB lent its resources for the workshop held within the Second Tiny and Medium-Sized Enterprise Development Task, funded by the Asian Production Bank.
The principal objective of SMEDP-2 is to ensure easy access to finance for the CMSMEs located outside Dhaka and in Chattogram metropolitan areas.
BRAC Bank officials related to SME financing and SMEDP-2 took component in the virtual workshop.
BB joint director and SMEDP-2 project manager Prashanta Mohan Chakraborty and assistant director and SMEDP-2 job officer Mahfuza Akter Tenni acted as the learning resource individuals at the workshop.
BB executive director and SMEDP-2A task director KM Fazlur Rahman was first the chief guest in the workshop even though DGM and SMEDP-2 deputy job director Rezaul Karim Sarkar was first present as a special guest.
BRAC Lender managing director and CEO Selim RF Hussain and SME brain Syed Abdul Momen likewise joined the workshop.
