Different business associations in Monday expressed their gratitude to prime minister Sheikh Hasina for announcing a stimulus bundle worth Tk 72,750 crore for the country’s businesses to tackle the coronavirus fallout.
The business enterprise bodies termed the initiative of the federal government timely and said that the fund would give a fresh impetus to the monetary activities in the united states.
Hailing the stimulus bundle as a time-befitting a single, the Bangladesh Reconditioned Cars Importers and Sellers Association demanded waiver from slot costs for the reconditioned vehicles importers up to December this season.
Taking into consideration the ongoing stagnant situation running a business, the trade body as well demanded halting auction in the ports till December.
The BARVIDA also demanded a decrease in the interest rate of already disbursed loans to the members of the trade body.
Bangladesh Poultry Sectors Central Council president Moshiur Rahman thanked the prime minister for unveiling the program for the firms and said that the fund would meet up with the demand for functioning capital of small- and medium-scale poultry farmers.
He hoped that the fund would encourage business owners of poultry and dairy sectors to choose new development overcoming the fallout of coronavirus.
