Etihad resumes flights to Morocco as the country welcomes travellers

Etihad is resuming flights to Morocco just as the united states reopens to international travellers.

The national airline of the UAE will resume passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to Casablanca in the Kingdom of Morocco from September 19.

The airline will at first operate three flights weekly from Abu Dhabi to Casablanca. From October 28, the airline may also fly twice per week to Rabat.

The addition of Casablanca and Rabat signifies that Etihad is currently flying to 58 destinations worldwide.

No cost Covid-19 cover for travellers
All travellers flying with Etihad will be automatically presented Covid-19 cover to cover expenses if indeed they contract the virus when overseas.

Emirates is also collection to resume flights to Casablanca in September.

The Dubai airline will restart flights to the Moroccan city from September 18, as part of its restored network.

Morocco reopens to international tourists
Morocco has now reopened to international travellers.

The Moroccan Airports Authority said that foreigners who are exempt from finding a visa to enter the kingdom can once again travel to Morocco with either an invitation from a Moroccan company or a confirmed reservation at a hotel in the country.

More than sixty nationalities do not want a visa to go to the kingdom, including vacationers from the UAE, US and the united kingdom.

Royal Air Maroc, the national airline of the united states, confirmed this on a recent tweet.

All travellers likely to fly to Morocco must have valid unfavorable Covid-19 test outcomes issued no more than 48 hours before their air travel to Morocco.

The united states has recorded 82,197 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
