Pellucere Technology, Inc., a U.S.-based sustainable technology centered company that manufactures anti-reflective and anti-soiling coatings for solar, motor vehicle, and consumer electronics, announced today that Fortistar, a privately-owned investment firm that delivers capital to build, grow and manage companies that address complex sustainability challenges, is usually co-investing alongside existing investor Energy Innovation Capital ("EIC") to invest in the speedy growth of the business.

Pellucere's flagship product may be the MoreSun® Anti-Reflective (AR) / Anti-Soiling (AS) covering for the solar marketplace. MoreSun offers industry-leading AR performance in addition to a proprietary dry anti-soiling property that reduces soiling prices up to 95%.

MoreSun's unique low-temperature healing technology allows it to be employed as a retrofit covering in the discipline for the approximately 70 GW of solar modules that don't have factory AR coatings. In depth customer field data demonstrates that the product's AR improvements will typically improve solar energy yield by 4% to 5% as the anti-soiling homes can improve strength yield up to yet another 4% to 8% in high dust environments.

"We happen to be exceptionally grateful to possess both Fortistar and Strength Innovation Capital, several leading sustainable energy-focused expansion capital firms, as buyers in Pellucere," said CEO Robert Lukefahr. "In 2021, we be prepared to complete installing the MoreSun coating on more than 500MW of retrofit solar tasks in the U.S., Canada, European countries, and Africa."

As well as the retrofit solar item, Pellucere also sells the MoreSun included Anti-Reflective/Anti-Soiling merchandise to solar module and solar cup manufacturers. This single-step coating process allows solar first equipment suppliers (OEMs) to supply industry-leading AR performance together with best-in-class anti-soiling efficiency at a less cost.

"We are thrilled to fund a high-growth company that's deploying proven solutions to key sustainability issues by significantly bettering the functionality of existing and potential solar installations," said Nadeem Nisar, Managing Director of Fortistar.

"Pellucere features exceeded our complex performance expectations and we are pleased to have Fortistar's strong operations-focused group recognize and interact the execution of the company's growth plans," said George Coyle, Managing Spouse at EIC.

Later this season, Pellucere expects to get started business rollout of its new, award-winning Talus AS™ anti-soiling product. The Talus Dirt Rejection Technology™ adds an anti-soiling layer on top of factory AR coatings to reduce cleaning costs and strength losses due to dust and dirt accumulation. Pellucere was recently awarded an American Built Solar prize from the U.S. Section of Strength and was successful in the Iberdrola Startup Obstacle for its solar anti-soiling goods. Iberdrola is a worldwide energy innovator in renewable power generation with practically 40GW in operation.

Pellucere was spun away of Oregon Condition University to commercialize the nano-technology developed by Dr. Chih-hung Chang and Dr. Seung-Yeol Han. The business has also produced and manufactures a patented robotic applicator system for the MoreSun coatings to permit high-precision, high-efficiency field request of the product.

Furthermore to MoreSun and Talus AS, the business has several other items currently in development together with companies in the motor vehicle and electronics industries. The company is situated in Houston, Texas and Corvallis, Oregon.
