Int'l education fair begins

A two-day international education fair participating by different universities from the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Latvia, China, Malaysia, Nepal and host Bangladesh began in the capital on Friday.
The Foreign Admission and Career Development Association of Bangladesh (FACD-CAB ) organised the fair for the fifth time styled International Education Expo-2019 at a city hotel, according to a press release.
Awami League presidium member Mohammad Nasim inaugurated the fair as the chief guest while FACD-CAB general secretary Qazi Faridul Haque and the expo convener Monirul Haque, among others, spoke at the opening ceremony.
At the fair, the aspiring students and parents could grab the opportunity to meet face-to-face with admission authorities and gather information on courses which are in demand.
The expo also offers spot registration of admissions a wide range of subjects as per the admission procedure of the respective universities, said the press release.
