Man behind spoiling banks

Arastoo Khan, Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) since 5th January this year has generated a lot of controversies about his profile and his performance as IBBL's top executive according to latest reports about him from different sources. 

His educational background shows he was a highly meritorious student during his academic life. He qualified for Bangladesh Civil Service in 1982. Later on in course of time Arastoo Khan became an additional secretary of Bangladesh government and he was also a member of Planning Commission.

Reportedly Arastoo Khan was an employee of a little known company named Armada Spinning Mills Limited but he revealed no information about his involvement and position in this organization while speaking to journalists so far. His professional records show that he was chairman of Bangladesh Commerce Bank earlier on and was acting chairman of Agrani Bank too. 

Reportedly a big scam took place in Agrani Bank under the authority of Arastoo Khan while Syed Abdul Hamid and Mizanur Rahman were managing director and deputy managing director of 
Agrani Bank respectively.
