More than 50 RMG factories using digital solutions of Coats Digital

More than 50 apparel factories in Bangladesh, including Epyllion, Pacific Jeans, Dekko Designs, Fakir Fashion and Ananta, are currently using digital solutions of Coats Digital, said a press release.
Global leading industrial thread manufacturer Coats has recently launched its technology division Coats Digital in Bangladesh, it said.
Coats Digital brings together globally recognised solutions — Fast React, GSD and ThreadSol (intelloCut & intelloBuy) — under one brand to provide a one-stop-shop for Bangladeshi Readymade Garment manufacturers, said the release.
Speaking about the plans for Bangladesh, Coats Digital managing director Keith Fenner said, ‘Bangladesh is a key focus in Coats Digital’s growth strategy.’
‘The RMG industry in Bangladesh has seen tremendous growth despite low technology penetration and the industry is now at an exciting stage in terms of technology as more and more manufacturers move from traditional methods to automation,’ he added.
According to the release, Coats Digital solutions are focused on enhancing the manufacturing value chain from design and development, through costing, to fabric buying, planning and order execution.
They combine deep industry expertise with the practical application of the latest technology, enabling manufacturers to manage costs and reduce lead, said the press release.
