Mosharraf for boosting economic progress of Bangladesh
LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain has urged officials concerned in foreign missions of Bangladesh to work sincerely with devotion to supplement the efforts of the government of building an economically prosperous Bangladesh.
“You (officials of foreign missions) could play an important role in development of Bangladesh,” he made the comments while visiting Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York on July 11, an official release said on Thursday.
Sadia Faizunnesa, Consul General of Bangladesh in New York, received the minister and apprised of Consulate General of Bangladesh.
Mosharraf said the government is working relentlessly to materialize the Vision of 2021 and the Vision-2041. He talked to expatriate Bangladeshis and inquired about their problems.
Senior Secretary of Local Government Division Dr Zafar Ahmed Khan and Masud Bin Momen, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, among others, were present on the occasion.
