This is why Elon Musk wanted to attack Mars with nuclear weapons

Elon Musk in a tweet yesterday revealed his actual intentions towards our planetary neighbour Mars. In the tweet, he wrote, “Nuke Mars!”
Now, why would a revolutionary inventor from planet Earth want to destroy the neighbouring planet? There has to be a good reason behind this right?
To understand what the CEO of SpaceX meant, we need to go back in the year 2015. This is when Elon Musk told Stephen Colbert that Mars was a “fixer-upper” and we planet Earth colonisers could fix it by nuking it.
The tech entrepreneur thinks that attacking Mars with nuclear weapons would release trapped carbon dioxide into the atmosphere which in return would make the red planet habitable for living things.
However, scientists think that the Tesla owner is mostly wrong with his predictions. As per NASA researchers, nuking Mars will release some carbon dioxide, but not enough to make it as Earth. Right now, Mars has a .6 carbon dioxide atmospheric content compared to the Earth’s and after dropping nuclear bombs on the planet, it would reflect a mere .1 per cent increase.
At the moment as things stand, making Mars our second home would take another hundreds and thousands of years.
