Training for expatriate workers begins in UAE

The Bangladesh Consulate General in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has begun skill development training program for Bangladeshi expatriate workers in the middle-eastern nation.

Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen inaugurated the training program – Life Changer – at a local hotel at Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, a press release in Dhaka said on Thursday, reports BSS.

Under the initiative, the consulate general office with the support of local Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) community will provide training on various aspects, including language, computer and driving, to the expatriate Bangladeshi workers for upgrading their skills.

The foreign minister hoped that the training program will help the Bangladeshi manpower to get better jobs in the UAE.
