Why does so much plastic waste end up in Asia?
What happens to your plastic trash after you drop it in a recycling bin? Chances are it gets shipped for recycling and ends up on an illegal landfill in Malaysia, Indonesia or the Phillipines. But these countries don't want to be worlds dumping grounds any longer.
