Stitt Solar named authorized dealer of SunPower products

Rogers-based renewable energy company Stitt Solar recently announced it’s the first SunPower authorized dealer in Arkansas and will only offer SunPower products to residential customers.

SunPower, a solar and energy services provider, offers high-efficiency solar panels and energy storage products. The company has received more than 700 solar patents.

“Solar energy is growing and changing more rapidly than ever,” said Stitt Solar CEO David Stitt. “We have been helping businesses and families go solar for over 40 years, and I believe the technology is just beginning.”

SunPower authorized dealers must complete SunPower training, meet performance standards for design, quality and service, and provide excellent customer service, according to a news release.

“We are always working to be experts on industry technologies and innovations,” Stitt added. “Becoming a SunPower authorized dealer is a natural fit because of our commitment to providing the highest quality products and support to our customers.”

According to Stitt Solar, while it only offers SunPower products to residential customers, it will continue to offer other product brands for its commercial and industrial customers.

“Stitt Solar plays an important role in growing solar adoption in Arkansas and has a strong reputation for quality,” said Tony Garzolini, vice president of sales at SunPower. “We are excited to welcome them into the SunPower fold and be a part of helping more homeowners go solar.”

Stitt Solar was founded in 1978 and has 17 employees.
