Redesigned MacBook Pro Models With 10-Key Apple Silicon Chip Said to Launch as soon as This Summer

Apple programs to launch new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro types with an improved iteration of the M1 chip as early as this summer, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The new chip is thought to include a 10-main CPU with eight high-performance cores and two energy-efficient cores, with 16-core or 32-main GPU options.

Gurman said the next-generation Apple silicon chip will also support up to 64GB of memory when compared to current maximum of 16GB. This might maintain line with the current Intel-established 16-inch MacBook Pro, which is obtainable with up to 64GB of RAM. The brand new chip is as well said to support more Thunderbolt ports for extended connectivity.
