Go Green Bangladesh is Promoting “Sonali Bag”

Nature-friendly alternative to polythene bag is being promoted by Go Green Bangladesh. It is a step towards an environment-friendly society. The inventor of this nature-friendly bag, Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Khan is providing the campaigns full support.  

“Our purpose is to encourage businesses to use environment-friendly products like Sonali Bag instead of Polythene bags” The co-founder of Go Green Bangladesh Suraiya Yasmin Ruma stated. 

One of the first users of Sonali Bag are the owners of Onuvob, they have stated as it is a great step towards an environment-friendly society, they are ready to donate their annual profit’s 10% to the campaign against polythene bags. It is without a doubt a success for Go Green Bangladesh and Producers of Sonali Bag.

Although the thin polythene was band in the year 2002, it is still seen being used by different groups of people and they are also manufactured. Embracing the Sonali Bag will without a doubt decrease or eradicate the number of people who are using thin polythene and also minimize the number of companies who are manufacturing it. 

Sonali Bag looks way better than usual polythene bags and also feel like real plastic. On the other hand, according to the scientists, it is entirely biodegradable. It is a magnificent invention done by Bangladesh for the sake of nature. 
Now, the price of the bag is 10 Bangladeshi Taka, however, according to the person who invented it, Dr. Khan, the price will lower down very soon. The UNB Scientists said that the price is not high if we are considering environmental cost. 

Bizbangladesh dictates that it is not only a step towards a better environment but it is something to be proud of because Sonali Bag was invented by a local inventor. However, it is very nice to know that people are embracing the bag even though it costs a bit more. We are looking for further inventions like this!
